This site is reader-supported. Some of the links on our guides — including links to charter operators, brokers and booking platforms — are affiliate links. If you book a charter or make a purchase through one of these links, we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you.
What that means in practice
- You never pay more. The commission comes out of the operator’s or platform’s margin, not from an added fee on your booking.
- It doesn’t buy placement. We don’t rank a boat, operator or destination higher because it pays a higher commission. Our comparisons are built around price, fit and what we’d actually recommend to a friend — the affiliate relationship comes after that decision, not before it.
- Not everything is monetized. Many of the operators, marinas and resources we mention have no financial relationship with us at all. We link to them because they’re useful, not because they pay us.
How we use affiliate links
When you click through to a partner site (for example, to check availability or pricing on a charter), that partner may use a cookie or similar tracking technology to record that the visit came from us, so we can be credited if you book. This tracking doesn’t give us access to your personal or payment information — that stays with the partner platform, governed by their own privacy policy.
Our editorial standard
Every guide on this site is written to answer the question a real charterer would ask, whether or not an affiliate link is involved. Prices, comparisons and recommendations reflect our own research and, where relevant, the direct experience of our contributors — not the preferences of any advertiser or partner.
