This page explains what cookies are, which ones we use, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. Cookies let a site remember information about your visit, recognize you on return visits, or track referrals to other websites.
2. The cookies we use
- Strictly necessary — Required for the site to function (e.g. remembering your cookie preferences). Example: Cookie consent tool. Can you refuse it? No — essential to the site working.
- Analytics — Understand how visitors use the site, so we can improve content. Example: Google Analytics. Can you refuse it? Yes.
- Affiliate / referral — Records that a visit to a partner site (e.g. a charter operator) came from us, so we can be credited for a booking. Example: Partner tracking cookies, set when you click an outbound link. Can you refuse it? Yes.
- Preferences — Remember settings like currency or region, if offered. Example: Site preference cookies. Can you refuse it? Yes.
We do not currently use advertising or retargeting cookies.
3. How consent works
On your first visit, a cookie banner lets you accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or customize your choices by category. No analytics or affiliate-tracking cookie is set until you’ve made a choice. You can change your preferences at any time using the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer.
4. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by services we use, not by us directly:
- Google Analytics — see Google’s Privacy Policy for how they process this data.
- Affiliate partners — each has its own cookie and privacy policy, which applies once you’re on their site.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
In addition to our consent tool, you can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking all cookies may affect how some parts of the site work, and will prevent us from crediting a booking to your visit if you use an affiliate link.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our use of cookies changes. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
